We're experiencing an unprecedented global crisis, probably the biggest of our time. As I sit at home, sinking into thoughts of existentialism, pondering on the state of the arts and the purpose of our work, I seek comfort in discovering all the support everyone has been offering. From the financial aid by the government to self-organised support groups on Facebook, from free online access to performance archives of arts companies to live videos by independent artists on Facebook and Instagram, almost every level of the community has been churning out ways to optimise the bandwidth of support to get us through this difficult time.
Below is a list of these supports which I will be updating from time to time:

❤ Objectifs Film Library
More than 40 short films from 14 Southeast Asian filmmakers are available online on the Objectifs Film Library. Most of the films are exclusive to Objectifs, and are not available on any other platform.

An emergency relief fund started by Pasar Glamour to provide urgent financial assistance (one-off $500 grants) to Singaporean and PR freelancers working in the performing arts industry, who have been adversely affected by Covid-19 measures. This emergency fund is targeted at helping performing arts freelancers who have lost their jobs and income overnight, and are now facing great difficulty making ends meet during this period.
❤ Singapore Unbound Relief Fund (SURF)
Creative writers, whether they are Singapore citizens living anywhere in the world or Permanent Residents of Singapore, may apply for a USD200/SGD280 grant from SURF with no strings attached. This fund is specifically intended to help those in dire need of immediate help.
