Synopsis:

The Red Pencil (Singapore) is pleased to announce the return of its flagship fundraising event, the Art to HeART Charity Art Exhibition 2026. Returning after its successful inaugural showcase in 2023, the second edition will be held from 10 to 12 April 2026 at The Culture Story, presenting a confluence of artistic excellence and compassionate action.

At its core, the exhibition demonstrates how the visual art medium — the foundation of The Red Pencil (Singapore)'s therapeutic work — can transcend therapy rooms to become a wellspring of inspiration and beauty for the wider community.

With a fundraising target of $150,000, the event invites the public to engage with art not merely as spectators, but as active participants in a movement for mental wellness. Proceeds directly support art therapy programmes that provide underprivileged communities with a vital pathway to emotional resilience.

This year's showcase brings together over 30 of Singapore's most esteemed artists, united in their commitment to this cause. The distinguished line-up includes husband-and-wife duo Chow & Lin; veteran contemporary art icon Tang Da Wu; master Chinese ink artist Anthony Chua Say Hua; and artist-curator Zulkhairi Zulkiflee. The exhibition will also pay tribute to the late Chen Yi Quan, whose works serve as a poignant reminder of art's lasting impact. Further enriching the showcase are contributions from art therapists Yen Chua and Amanda Chen, creating a direct visual link between practice and purpose.

Visitors are invited to adopt artworks through donation. In 2026, thanks to a matching initiative, every dollar donated will count twice, amplifying the reach of this vital cause. Beyond acquisition, the exhibition serves as a vibrant gathering space, offering Art Therapy Experiential Workshops where attendees can gain understanding of the therapeutic process, alongside Artist Talks that provide insights into the intersection of creativity and emotional expression.
