Synopsis:

Stories are not invented but rather, discovered. This hands-on creative writing workshop is designed to help aspiring and emerging writers discover compelling story ideas that can be developed into scripts for film, television and theatre. Through a series of lectures, screenings, writing exercises and story workshops, participants will be guided to look closely within themselves, their relationships, and the world around them to uncover authentic, powerful story ideas. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with a systematic yet playful set of tools that can be used to discover their voice and their next story.

This workshop is perfect for both beginners and experienced writers looking to elevate their writing and develop a more intuitive, story-first approach to screenwriting and story development.
