Synopsis:
This September, Both Sides, Now: Mengukir Harapan is back! The end-of-life is something that not many may want to talk about, but discussing it does not have to be awkward or uncomfortable. Come September, our Public Engagement Lepaskan Sesalan (Release Your Regrets) provides a safe space made with and largely for the Malay-Muslim community to continue the conversation on death, dying and bereavement, from where we left off last year.
Based on the concept of "rewang", or communal effort, there'll be opportunities to gather and share on topics that will focus on minimising regrets after a loved one has passed on. Programmes are available mostly in English with some Malay, and all members of the public are welcome, with free admission at Heartbeat@Bedok Atrium, 21-24 September 2022.
