Synopsis:

How To Break A Window II is a showcase of the brilliant winners of the 24-Hour Playwriting Competition. It comprises two events:

1. Triple Bill - featuring three winners. Two winners from the 24-Hour Playwriting Competition (2021) and they are Amanda Chong and Melizarani T.Selva. Also featured in this triple bill is the first prize winner from the 2019 edition of the same competition, Yin Mei Lenden-Hitchcock.

The triple bill will be staged from 15 till 19 February, 7.30pm.

2. Youth Forum - staged readings of two of the winning entries of the youth category of the competition. The winners are Sarah Zafirah and Tania Lam. Focused specifically on young writers aged 15 to 20 years old, the Youth Forum will also include presentations of youth writing development and discussions led by Ang Kia Yee. Ang is a former participant of the competition and is now an emerging artist.

How To Break A Window is a nod to the ingenuity of the featured playwrights, who approached the 24-Hour Playwriting Competition's 2021 stimuli with fearlessness and creativity, akin to breaking a window in order to discover a new world.
