Synopsis:

With Time is a verbatim theatre performance that asks, explores and unpacks: how do we overcome suicidal tendencies or attempts? Based on true accounts, the performance allows young audiences to listen to real stories of those who had tried to end their lives in their youths, and their journey in overcoming these mental health struggles or other stressors.

In Singapore, suicide remains the leading cause of death for those aged 10 to 29. Beyond the individuals who have ended their lives, there are more who have had thoughts of suicide or even attempted it; but remain with us today.

With Time is based on interviews conducted with individuals who have had suicidal ideations or attempts while they were aged 10 to 29. Their various stories do not aim to provide solutions but will remind the audience about possibilities beyond an actual suicide attempt. How did they take the first step to reach out for help or support? What does 'recovery' look like? What are the realities of overcoming suicidal tendencies or attempts?
