Synopsis:

Ballet is notorious for its toll on a dancer's body. Yet 82-year-old dancer, choreographer and educator Goh Lay Kuan is still able to outpace, outstretch and outmove everyone at Practice!

Returning to the studio for her first public class in decades, Goh explores the relationship between dance, health and aging bodies. Combining her years of experience in Tai Chi and Qigong with her foundation in ballet, journey with Goh as she revisits the fundamentals of dance by focusing on individual physiology over aesthetics and form.

As a pioneer in Singapore modern dance, Goh has nurtured generations of dancers through her dance classes. In this intimate workshop, former dancers and ex-students are invited to take stock and reassess the relationship between dance and their bodies. Join us as we dance our way... to health!
