Synopsis:
In collaboration with Jeremy Goldstein's Truth to Power Café, Power Play presents The Shape of Power x Truth to Power Café 1-min video open call that welcomes anyone with an authentic story to tell to respond to the question 'who has power over you and what do you want to say to them?'
London-based Truth to Power Café is a profound reflection on loss, hope and resistance told through memoir, image, poetry, music and live and spontaneous testimony from participants with true and authentic stories to tell.
To take part in this open call, we ask you to send us 100 words on who you are and what you would like to say in response to the question. Feel free to respond from your personal, professional, and/or political lived experience. Through a process of co-creation, we will work with you to create a 1 min video. Selected videos will be streamed and presented alongside videos collected from participants based in other parts of the world as part of Power Play digital Festival and Truth to Power Café's digital platform.
