Synopsis:
The struggle is real for creatives during this pandemic.
Arts are disrupted indefinitely and the practice of creatives are in limbo. One day we are opening up and the next we are not. When will this end, HOW will this end? Nobody knows. Planning and navigating an uncertain future is tiring and we're burnt out from being in crisis mode all the time.
But two things are clear:
One, creatives need a break, to regroup and recharge.
Two, creatives need a way to move forward amidst uncertainty.
The Struggle is Real Retreat is a 4-chapter journey designed for but not limited to: performers, theatre practitioners, producers, festival managers, curators, consultants and art teachers, to figure things out.
