Synopsis:

Illustrator and author Patrick Yee (余广达), will read from his latest picture book The Story of the Redscarf. Written in a witty, light-hearted style and accompanied by eye-catching illustrations, it aims to introduce life of the previous generations to the young of today. Kids will be invited to connect with their roots by dressing up in Chinatown-themed costumes of Samsui women, ma jies (nannies) and coolies in the 1950's. Bring your children along for a unique heritage experience and an unforgettable morning! Performed in Mandarin.
