Synopsis:

Wanting to write, but not sure how to start? Stuck in a rut where your writing is concerned? Jumpstart will help you perceive the world in a new fashion, fuel your creativity and give impetus to new writing.

This hands-on session will encourage you to explore various objects and the surrounding environment through movement, sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste. Drawing inspiration from these various stimuli, you will embark on various writing exercises. Finally, you will receive feedback on what you have written and how you can possibly further develop your text/s beyond the workshop.

Whether you are a new or seasoned writer, Jumpstart will spur you to write stories infused with unexpected textures that will grab the imagination of your readers.
