Synopsis:
Join the renowned Singaporean photographer Mr Loke Hong Seng at Crane as he speaks on photography strategy and techniques, as well as sharing of his stories of Singapore based on his body of work done from 1963- 1985. Street portraiture with hints of pictorialism which tracks the overlaying of the corporatised Singapore Republic out of the old kampong and colonial entrepot. Loke Hong Seng's photographs capture life and portrait of Singapore. Stories about street scenes to shipyards and kampongs, from construction sites to beach scenes and soulful portraits.
