Synopsis:

Fun, interactive and theatrical, Images of Singapore Live takes you on a journey to uncover the nation's extraordinary story! Through a unique mix of live actors and special effects, get ready to step back in time to Singapore's past from humble Malay fishing village to 21st century powerhouse. Experience the sights and sounds of yesteryear right in the heart of Sentosa.

About the Role

We are looking for part time actors to become part of a cast who will perform one person scripted shows and bring to life some of the rich and colourful history of the Lion City through the eyes of an Orang Laut, Samsui woman or Coolie and more.

The role will involve acting on the floor for a full day (between 8 to 10 hours) with ample breaks. We will also require you to learn basic Mandarin for Mandarin shows. There will be full training and rehearsals provided.

About You

Due to the nature of our experience, all performers must be able to speak fluent English and also be able to simulate local accents such as Hokkien-English, Cantonese-English, Malay-English and Neutral English. It is also essential that you poseess good characterization skills.

You will have great stage presence and have experience performing on stage in front of a live audience. The role will require good improvisational skills to work with a variety of group audiences along with excellent audience interaction skills. Physical stamina, strong vocal ability and a sense of fun are essential.

Theatre training is a bonus but not essential.
