An original production featuring Bharatanatyam and piano, with saxophone and violin.
Inspired by the breathtaking, groundbreaking journeys of NASA's space probes Voyagers 1 and 2, the first man-made objects to travel beyond the Solar system, TO ensemble presents a first ever collaboration with award-winning Bharatanatyam dancer/teacher/choreographer M.S. Srilakshmi. A performance tale that transcends time and space and celebrates the courage of seeking new frontiers, this concert brings together the grace and energy of Bharatanatyam dance and TO ensemble's unique contemporary world fusion/jazz music.
Featuring original music by award-winning composer Tze Toh, with performers: Tze Toh (piano), Srilakshmi (dance), Teo Boon Chye (sax) and Martin Peh (violin).
