Synopsis:

Is blood donation painful? Why should I donate blood when there are so many other people who can?

For this special talk in commemoration of World Blood Donor Day on 14 June, Singapore Red Cross (SRC) will be busting myths on blood donation and sharing the importance of keeping blood donation sustainable in Singapore. Today, just 1.8% of Singapore residents are blood donors, but the need for blood will only increase every year. SRC's mission is to inspire the families and youth of today to be part of this lifesaving journey together – as Singaporeans.

Together with InwardBOUND drama company, SRC will present an interactive skit that addresses one important question: will you step forward to donate blood, whether in peacetime or emergency?

Limited spaces available. Programme is free of charge and includes light refreshments. Visit lsoh-alltypes.peatix.com for registration.
