Synopsis:
As part of Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay's In Youthful Company series, NUS Guitar Ensemble (GENUS) is presenting a selection of our favourites, both old and new. From familiar game themes and movie soundtracks to classics like Piazzolla's Libertango, there's sure to be something for everyone.
Mellow, feel-good tunes from the soundtrack of the nostalgic Japanese RPG Chrono Trigger and Hikoukigumo from the Ghibli film The Wind Rises provide a temporary reprieve from the hustle and bustle of daily life; while the dramatic flair of Outbreak and Metal Vivaldi - pieces by premier Niibori guitar sextet DANROK - showcase our musicians' camaraderie and love of performing.
Come on down to Esplanade Concourse on 13 April (Sat), 6.15pm and 7.15pm, to meet our Niibori family of guitars and enjoy a fun night out In Youthful Company!
