Synopsis:
Presented in English and targeted at first-time Opera goers and families, Le 66, a story of how a misunderstanding over a lottery ticket results in a lesson learnt in the dangers of extravagance, will be Spot Pocket Opera Theatre's (SPOT) first official Opera Production since it's inception in 2016.
Armed with the desire to break social stereotypes of Opera, SPOT aims to tickle, fascinate and inspire their audience with their brand-new take on what can be called a "traditional' art form. Drawing on their ammunition of modern day technology and social cultures/contexts, Le 66 will be SPOT's way of advancing Opera towards the front lines of keeping the traditional art form fun, engaging and still relevant for the modern day audience!
