Synopsis:

In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Mapletree is happy to present Once Upon a Full Moon, a concert by The TENG Ensemble.

"Fly Me to the Moon" – Educational Pre-Show for Children (6.30PM)
Bring the young ones to catch the pre-show by MySuperFuture! Look forward to an intriguing and modern re-telling of a Mid-Autumn classic - "嫦娥" (Chang'e), the Chinese goddess of the Moon.

"Once Upon a Full Moon" – The TENG Ensemble Concert (7.15PM)
Let The TENG Ensemble serenade you with a soulful medley of popular tunes like "Dancing in the Moonlight", "Fly Me to the Moon" and "月亮代表我的心 (The Moon Represents My Heart). Sassy Singaporean singer-songwriter Tay Kewei (郑可为) will also be making a guest appearance.

About the Performers
The TENG Ensemble is a collective of music educators, scholars and award-winning instrumentalists. They bridge the traditional and contemporary, the East and West, and the old and new. Their unique brand of Singaporean music has brought them to key Asian cities, where they received unanimous acclaim.

Tay Kewei was previously the supporting singer of superstars David Tao, A-mei, Wang Lee Hom and JJ Lin, before releasing 3 of her own albums that broke through the regional market. Nicknamed the "angel of harmony", she also plays several instruments, including the erhu.

MySuperFuture Theatrical Productions, founded by Ian Loy in 2009, is involved in community outreach and theatre projects with various institutions and people of all ages, coaching and creating theatre art for them.
