Drawing from his experiences as former Marketing Manager at Pangdemonium! Theatre Company and Producer with his own company, Sight Lines Productions, Derrick will take participants through a jam-packed journey filled with case studies, insights and never-been-shared Marketing secrets & hacks!

Trainer Bio:

A graduate with Distinction from RMIT with a BA in Communications, majoring in Marketing, Derrick spent the last 15 years working in the film and theatre industry in the capacity of Stage/Production Manager, Marketing Manager and Producer.

Mentored by veteran Theatre Producer, Tan Kheng Hua, Derrick was the Marketing Manager for Pangdemonium! Theatre Company from 2010 – 2012 before starting his own theatre events company, Sight Lines Productions.

Selected Theatre Credits (Producing/Marketing) include: Lord of the Flies (Winner of Best Set Design, Life! Theatre Awards 2017), Everything but the Brain, Boom (Sight Lines Productions), The Full Monty, Spring Awakening, Dealer's Choice, Swimming with Sharks (Pangdemonium! Theatre Company), Itsy the Musical, Starring Hitler as Jekyll and Hyde (The Finger Players)

Apart from Sight Lines, Derrick is also the founder of Hyde & Co., an English inspired local café and runs Hyde Consultancy, a boutique F&B management consultancy firm.

He has been featured prominently on all mainstream media platforms for his work in the F&B and theatre scene.

As a speaker and trainer, Derrick has spoken on various platforms including LASALLE College of the Arts, The Straits Times panel, NTUC E2i Conference and the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce & Industry seminar to name a few. He is proud to have trained close to 1,000 entrepreneurs in Singapore to date.
