Synopsis:
Pangdemonium is launching a brand new playwriting mentorship, Write Here, Write Now. One promising applicant will be selected for this prestigious one-on-one mentorship that gives them the opportunity to work with our Resident Playwright Stephanie Street, a respected writer known for her fearless work. Stephanie Street has written Dragonflies, a play commissioned by Singapore International Festival of the Arts (SIFA) 2017, and Pangdemonium will be restaging it as part of their 2018 season.
The programme begins in April 2018, where the mentee will work under Stephanie Street for one year to write a full-length play. All meetings will be arranged privately, so you don't have to worry about it interfering with work or school. At the end of the year, the play may be considered for staging and/or submission for play writing competitions.
The mentorship programme is open to all applicants of all ages.
