Let the ingenuity and magic of John Mead Dance Company's (JMDC's) newest, original dance offering, Yuletide! spark your imagination and whisper to your heart this December!

Taking an entirely fresh look at the magical, benevolent aura of the secular Christmas holiday season, JMDC's Artistic Director, Mr. John Mead has once again ventured into imaginative new choreographic territory. Abstracting compelling elements that we associate with the season, the JMDC dancers will reveal a unique new take on a centuries-old tradition.

JMDC will abstract elements from the historical, secular beginnings of the Yuletide season and will use contemporary dance as a base from which to present this production to the Singapore public. Yuletide! promises to be a unique look at the magic of the Yuletide season, from its secular beginnings to what we know of as Christmas today. Through movement, the very special feelings of the holiday season will be brought to life. This will be an original, contemporary, danced Christmas experience for the entire family.
