======

Crys Cole is a Canadian sound artist working in live performance, composition, sound sculpture and installation. Her work is driven by deep listening and the exploration of sounds that could be perceived as inconsequential or insignificant. She explores texture, timbre and subtle shifting of tone in order to play with aural perception and to create a sonic space that plays with ideas around the ambiguity of memory and familiarity.

Since 2008, Cole has been the Director and Curator of send + receive - an annual festival of sound art and experimental music in Winnipeg, Canada.
