Synopsis:
The rich heritage of the Jurong heartlands comes alive in Larger than Life: The Unspoken Histories of Jurong Neighbourhood. The public art showcase transforms and activates public spaces in Jurong East Central with engaging art sculptures, installations and events about the neighbourhood, created by home-grown artists.
Curated by art collective Vertical Submarine, Larger than Life forms an overarching narrative about Jurong and its people. The installations invite residents and visitors to discover contemporary art forms and to learn about the area's culture and history through guided tours, workshops and artist talks.
