Synopsis:

In 1975, while imprisoned in Madiun, Mochtar Lubis wrote Harimau Harimau (Tiger! Tiger!) in which he abandons an abused, vulnerable young character, Siti Rubiyah, to a horrifying fate alone in the middle of the jungles of Sumatra. This play, which will be performed as a dramatic reading, travels into the centre of those forests and imagines what might have happened next.
