Synopsis:

Production Q and SPRMRKT are proud to present the inaugural launch of: The City Book— Singapore

Containing a series of unique stories told from the perspectives of contemporary local artists, each of them brings us on a personal journey of life in Singapore, with stories that reflect the diverse perspectives of culture, exploring themes including urban isolation, nostalgia, nature, and life in transitory spaces. These stories are supplemented by art to reflect their unique relationships with different elements of the city.

Curated and created by the founder of Production Q, Queenie Rosita Law, The City Book— Singapore combines both art and adventure. Each narrative, each anecdote and each work of art reveals a facet of the city's character and identity, weaving together the rich tapestry that is Singapore's culture.

Bound in luxurious hardcover, these stories are connected to their actual locations through an illustrated map, allowing a dialogue to emerge between the reader and the artist as the reader navigates the city's stories through the book.

"I have created The City Book with a wish to inspire people to travel and see the city from the local artists' perspective, mixing art with the city. By creating the project in another city we begin to share similar minds."
— Queenie Rosita Law, Creator of The City Book

The artists will be present for a book signing, exclusive to purchases made at SPRMRKT Daily.
