Synopsis:
Organised by the National Library Board's Arts & Culture team, PRESSPLAY is an annual youth festival aimed to make the arts more accessible to the public and celebrate its impact on young people's lives.
Now in its fourth year running, PRESSPLAY collaborates with local studios, independent artists and design collectives to offer a myriad of arts programmes from 14 Jan to 18 Mar 2017. Make something new at our artisan workshops, learn of the ongoing collaborations between our local creative community, listen to our selection of local beats, or have a better appreciation of the written word.
Oh, be sure to indulge in all things arts at our closing event LASTPLAY on 18 Mar 2017. LASTPLAY is a special closing event held at Central Public Library from 9.30pm – 12.30am on 18 March 2017. Spend the night cosying up with musicians and try your hand at one of our artisanal taster booths. We'd love to see you, so let's PRESSPLAY!
