Synopsis:
On September 5, The Red Pencil (Singapore) is partnering with Artualize Art Gallery and artist Wee Ping Chun to run a workshop that takes your appreciation of art into something of your own.
Spend time with the pieces on show, then take a moment before responding to what struck you, working in the same materials Chun had - Chinese ink, watercolour, acrylic, or rice paper.
A credentialed art therapist eases the room into the session, stays present while everyone works, and closes with a small shared exhibition of what came out of the afternoon, plus space to talk about it if you want to. Everyone gets a Mindful Response Kit at the start: a clipboard, pencil, and a few paper prompts, in case you need somewhere to begin.
