Synopsis:
Pygmalion: Mural of Singapore follows Aini, a hardworking and disciplined student at Greenfield Secondary, whose identity is shaped by her principal's rigid belief that success must be earned through discipline, clarity, and impact. Alongside her artistic best friend Clara and other members of the debate team, Aini prepares for a national competition under the motion "This House Believes That Success Without Integrity is Failure." As pressure mounts, from the looming 'O' Levels to her principal's manipulative expectations, Aini begins to fracture, questioning whether achievement is worth the emotional cost. Through her journey, the play reveals how institutional ambition and personal sacrifice collide within Singapore's high-stakes education system.
