Love

Synopsis:

On the 5th of September 2024, the Nanyang Collective will present its third major production – Love – at the Esplanade Recital Studio. This production will again showcase the Nanyang Collective's signature elements – contemporary Asian music with a smorgasbord of different ethnic instruments, supported with a rich palette of lighting and staging design.

Working with established artistes such as Jeremiah Choy (stage director), Reuben Lai (vocalist), Wong De Li Dedric (music director) and premiering the works of composers Chong Kee Yong, Robert Casteels and Felix Phang, this production explores the many facets of love, from family bonds to the pursuit of equality, and discovers how it weaves our lives together.
