Synopsis:
National Day celebrations are in store for residents who can look forward to a variety of engaging art activities and performances.
Some of the 'artventures' include various food-related arts activities like shrink art, canvas painting with favourite food themes, and clay art keychain making. Art takes on a green note with a coaster-making activity where participants will co-create these coasters using a machine to upcycle collected water bottle caps into keepsake coasters.
The festival will also feature live band performances by Two of Us and performances of original songs composed by participants from the songwriting workshop. A highlight of the event is the large-scale art installation, Singaporean Favourite Food, created from recycled materials and measuring about 10m by 2m.
