Synopsis:

Land, Sea & Sky: A World in Indigo, a first batik solo exhibition by Alison Wilson, a Singapore-based artist from the United Kingdom. This exhibition showcases Wilson's exploration of batik and indigo, a technique and a dye source steeped in the history and tradition of Asia. The exhibition will feature twelve brand-new artworks that depict natural sceneries and landscapes, expressed in intricate layering of wax and indigo natural dyes. Inspired by Wilson's travels and experiences, visitors will immerse in a world where art, tradition and nature intertwine.
