Synopsis:

How do we communicate and express ourselves clearly and correctly through words that appear on a handheld screen with no emotional clues? Stemming from a real WhatsApp conversation, #thumbtoofat is dancer-choreographer Dapheny Chen's full-length contemporary work that fuses dance and multimedia in a tongue-in-cheek response to the overuse of emoticons and the infinite possibilities of being misunderstood.
