Synopsis:

本剧根据安徒生版本之童话故事《夜莺》改编而成，编剧站在原著的高度基础上，注入了大量魔幻主义色彩，以及中国古老的《山海经》神话成分，提炼出了以爱情为主题的成人童话剧。

故事以诙谐逗趣的戏剧手法讲述在一个超现实的年代里，有一只喜欢讲故事，又爱四处飞翔流浪的夜莺，遇到了孔雀的追求，孔雀王被夜莺的故事吸引，要把她留在金碧辉煌的皇宫里陪伴自己一生，夜莺却因为不愿意失去自由，拒绝了王子的爱情并离开了皇宫。

王子因此失望，后来他移情别恋，爱上一只人造的假夜莺。当他的臣子背叛他时，夜莺便回到他的身边。

This play is adapted from the popular fairy tale written by Hans Christian Andersen. Talented script writers, Mr Koh Teng Liang and Mr Boo Chee Wee, have infused a lot of fantasy elements and incorporated the mythological segments from the The Classic of Mountains and Seas (山海经) into the play, developing it into a fairy tale with the theme of love, not only suitable for the young but grown-ups as well.

Set in a fantasy world and presented in a light-hearted manner, it tells the story of a nightingale who loved to tell story. King Peacock was attracted by her stories and wanted to keep her by his side forever. However, the nightingale treasured her freedom thus she rejected his love and left the palace.

Meanwhile, the king fell for a mechanical nightingale. When he was betrayed by his subjects, the nightingale returned to his side.
