In its fourth core production, Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan Dance Theatre (SHHKDT) takes a look back into the history of Singapore and attempts to relive the memory, heritage and identity of Chinese traditional arts through this dance drama.
Life's A Stage is inspired by the story of a local Chinese street opera troupe in the mid-twentieth century. Overflowing with love, friendship and betrayal, it unfolds the story of three talented Chinese opera artists and how their life revolved around the fate of the opera troupe.
