Synopsis:

Great beats. Evocative lyrics. Mellow moments. Good vibes. After all that, AIRPLAY needs nothing other than your company. Come up for air with friends or your plus-one for an evening with musicians, lyricists and singers.

With their highly acclaimed brand of bliss-pop, local outfit Pleasantry has performed at The Gathering 2015, alongside renowned international acts including Belle and Sebastian, Caribou and Temples. Their focus on personal and meaningful songwriting features lush instrumentation and intricate layering of melody and harmony in their music.

This programme is part of the National Library Board's PRESSPLAY, an annual youth festival aimed to celebrate the impact of arts in young people's lives. Now in its fourth year running, PRESSPLAY collaborates with local studios, independent artisans and design collectives to offer a myriad of arts programmes from 14 Jan - 18 Mar 2017.
