Synopsis:
This one-day workshop is for people who want to create music but can’t play an instrument. Learn how to compose a song using nothing but your your iPhone with electronic music producer and performer, Max Lane. He will take you through a step-by-step process to create your own audio masterpieces, from basic drum sequencing & instrumentation, to sampling & song arrangement.
Max Lane is a persona created by Safuan Johari for his adventures in electronic music where he twists found sounds within broody & bouncy beatscapes. A founding member of the audio-visual collective, Syndicate, this self-taught producer has a list of releases & remixes featured on independent labels from the US, UK & Belgium.
